when no dreams are left to dream
no roads to tread and shadows to follow
no hints of footprints to trace and track
a calm sleep tonight is hard to wish for
will the sunrise wake you up
and greet tomorrow with a wooden smile
a star-gazer in an angry sky tonight
delaying chances is another time wasted
dreams don’t speak when and where to begin
dreamers wait for hell to freeze over

green is to be young
the dawn of a new season
then you came into my life
when we were still not man and wife
greener days like the life of a tree
when time begins to move and flowing free
gentle whispers blown by different winds
green hearts of ours echoed the footprints
as we lived our lives and gambled our youth
we found ourselves hiding the ultimate truth
unforseen drama of different shades and hue
the promise of Spring turned to lonely blue
now the leaves of the once greener young tree
crumbled to the ground without a trace of glee
the love that we shared was left for another
bluer than blue, the green leaves of Summer

when i close my eyes i see a lot what i hear what i dream what i discern more than i could figure out the candle light in the dark is Hope seeking to be pursued more than anyone could feel seeing behind the walls the matters of the troubled past... when i close my eyes the right path appears the footprints that i follow the shadow that i chase are the blessed route to trail... when i close my eyes the truth comes adrift what's in my heart are treasures that i keep are goodness that i outreach... closing my eyes things are seen and noticed when to draw conclusions weigh a lot of doubts decisions are folded... when i close my eyes i'm opening a book an experience appearing to my mind vividly,exploring the world scouring the sea and sky in a quest that will come to be...
The writer gives life to a story, the reader keeps it alive.
