I’m really sorry I haven’t written any piece for the past weeks.

Last August 04, 2021, I was vaccinated with Sinovac. It was smooth until the second dose on September 01, 2021 was injected on me. Four days later, I got a fever, cough, I lost my sense of smell, appetite. We panicked. “Now, you have Covid19 .” We contacted our family doctor. The message was clear not to be alarmed . My family started sending me foods of my consumption. We were told those symptoms were just side effects of the vaccine.

Two weeks later, I have recovered. Thank you for the prayers.

Thank you so much for staying there with me. Thank you my dear readers ! I Love You !

look into my eyes
are they full of heartaches
or overflowing with love

do you see the tears in hiding
between my mind
and this caressing heart

look into my being
i have a soul to care
fastened to my prayers

lead my sight into
does it see only the near

or farther and beyond

how you rely upon me
taking all of these at face value
pushing aside trust as an issue

you know what all of these mean
the echoes you have in mind
are what my eyes clearly define…

To be lost in the dark
leaving a hundred different marks
got confused if it’s true or not
dried tears on my face, it’s a lot

I know what it means
to be scorned in my dreams
got worried so it seems
it’s so real and so extreme

Crying is not the way to be free
the future waits and it’s not ours to see
prayers can help what we want to be
have faith in Him, believe in His mercy

Photography # 49 – Graveyard Beauties

Last Nov. 5, 2020, I went to my family’s graveyard and saw these intriguing beautiful flowers giving life to the greens carpeting the land where my members of the family are laid to rest. Prayers were said on their graves and being alone who visited their tombs made a short walk inside the area. Small flowers have grown independently among the bushes.
