time is running out
beating the clock will not be easy
for the day to come
that i will be me

life will seek the path
where thin air will be in abundance
as i walk the road to infinity
where the necropolis
of the known and unknown souls behave
as i pass and watch them laid in silence.

I heard some silence
hiding in a senile space
opening closed doors

explosion of thoughts
breaking loud-voiced secrecy
deciphering code

retired on the shelf
veiled pages browsed by the young
a scholarly find

Little rains

Little rains, whispers of the twilight
want to know where you’ve been
sunset hides from the clouds they fell
in the silence of the world’s noise
Little rains, droplets of diamonds
glisten through the near-night sky
catch the weakened rays of the sun
comfort the tears, smile and dry your eyes

The Shadow, lust of their desires…

Photo by Hoang Loc on Pexels.com
In a flash of surprise
as i looked on the clear spot
in a place not far from my distance
a dark figure cast on the floor
head came out intercepting light
from the side of the couch's head board

first it was one, as i thought
later the head became two
came from the chest
of the first shadow
proverbial pair, man and woman

it was a pleasant scene
kissing on the face and lips
caressing each others hair
then it became so torrid
as if it would not last

the romancing was long
exchanging places, endless it seemed
without pause, without a breathing space
as if i was the one who would get drown
in the sweetness of their exchanges

froth from one's mouth
i could feel the excitement
from their hearts
the lust of their desires
the sensuality
the thirst

soon, the shadow got tired
they held each others lips
then caressed
wiped each others lips
with the woman's scarf
with the man's hankie
then embraced
then a little talk

as they stood from the wide couch
little by little each face came to the light
but why i was the one who felt so nervous
afraid? annoyed? tense? shy?
a mixed of unfamiliar feelings
odd or baffling as i sensed familiarity

then the truth has been unfolded
the woman, the lady
the girl, it's her
she's my girl, my lady, my woman

as they went passed me
i called out her name
the response was silence not knowing me
my heart wept and prepared a revenge
drastic times call for drastic measures
i won't cry over spilt milk
damage has been done
it's over...
