La Playa de Roxas, or Baybay beach as it is commonly called by the locals, faces the Sibuyan Sea and belongs to the Western Visayas Region, at the northeastern portion of Panay Island which neighbors Aklan, Antique, and Iloilo. Roxas city is the capital of Capiz province which has a population of 167,003 based on the 2015 statistics.
Baybay beach is a favorite tourist spot of local residents on weekends. The beach’s gray sand of 7 kilometers long boasts its charm through the night, setting its shores with ample visitors from nearby towns served by the neighboring restaurants that cater sea foods and other cuisines of reasonable prices which are a come-on for visiting local friends and foreign guests.
Your moments become more appealing, glamorous and romantic as you stroll on the shore at night. It could be made enjoyable seeing various activities in sight, like, fishing and having some lovely conversations with the local gentle people.

maybe you are the dawn
of this entire life
as you begin to show
the signs of the day’s echo
perhaps it will be quick
to await your true colors
to see and hear the secret
the duration of the day’s spirit
truth is at hand of the dawning
the start of a brand new beginning
the birth of a new creation
the rise of the golden sun
now this is the right time
for the truth to be mine
tell me all the hurting secrets
the mystery in your heart’s buckets
let me feel the love i share
let all your closets be bare
is there someone else in your life
that will cause my only strife
let me know, as the sun’s still bright
let me hear, as it shines the blessed light
the sunrise is holding on
’till all of the truth have shone
the innocence of dawn have passed
the wildness of the sun rises fast
the twilight sun not to be blackened by stain
as you and i will be in darkness again…

moving from place to place
backdrop of the silent moon
reflects the joys of a gala night
roar of day suppressed to quietness
as the deep of darkness advances
the moon proving to be in power
increased its brightness to full
littered with magic at the horizon
as time begins to show its direction
earth has displayed all its edges
space has swallowed all its dreams
dark portraits gazing at the moon
as the tree stood as a watchtower
sights of life that are clinging on
reveal how one another survives
