you believed a man could not have a descent life
and can’t pull himself out of his poverty
being poor and one of the millions of the needy
is to live a life that’s simple and happy



you spoke he’s a weak and fragile person
no muscles and can’t bend bars of iron
but he can secure a brighter future
he’s honest and upright with mind so mature



you dared and derided his being
considered him as meek and mean
but what profits a man if he gains the whole world
but loses his own soul
the right relationship with Christ
is all that he should own …

    Anche se in povertà si può perdere l’aanima nella sofferenza.
