i have delivered hearts
to where they ought to be
to places i haven’t gone
bringing those hearts with me
running errands all around
looking for the hearts’ addresses
in the city thousands abound
and i’m feeling i’m not really hopeless
nights have been so sleepy
thinking about the heart’s beating
is it sad today or feeling happy
i guess it’s in the mode of resting
valentines is so near
and i can’t find a heart to pair
come with me let’s have a date
and let our hearts start the dare…
