different colors that came into view
a beauty cheered by showers, sunshine and you
faintly colored sketch seen across the distant sky
enhancing the vast expanse of blue and white
bunches of showers and rays of sunlight
lighter prism colors starved for a heavier sight
more drizzling tears pierced by saddened light
brought a charming smile your face can’t hide
the reason why so faint its colors are displayed
in the heavens we lift our heads we’re not dismayed
maybe God doesn’t give his graces in full
the rest are stored behind the rainbow’s bend
ask not for all the graces to be given
some sweat and blood are shed for the rest of the remainder
unfair for Him if rainbows gained the brightest of colors
discover what’s hidden behind, “Please do the honors”
