please brighten up my mind
with simple thoughts of grace
dream up a smile then shine
ahead of the blue days

i love the rare special feeling
that comforts my writing desire
when the train- of- words is passing
the poet in me is on fire

whirling words that spring in kind
freeing some unbinding ties
stories weaved by heart and mind
befit saints, sinners, those in disguise

refitting bad times to glory
by printing factual words in mind
i won’t end it in a hurry
leaving real opinions unsigned

i’d like to follow the rainbow
and play with the colors that arch
from the sea extending to the mountains
losing luster as i await and watch

how happy i am when it shows
it cools me at noon ’till it’s gone
at times the colors brighten like a rose
then lightens and fades like the setting sun

in the lives of men if compared
born and die in God’s perfect will
their time to be saints and sinners if dared
laughter, cheers, or bad luck can be downhill

rainbow, if the sky is your place
teach me how to hang high up there
bravely awaits the time to leave no trace
to appear and bring joy to all somewhere

Night is a sad morning

Photo by Anna Shvets on Pexels.com

the dark hours is still young

collecting memories for time to keep

diverse and all as they may seem

into the heavens they may soundly sleep

.

gather forces into your hands

offer them to the space beyond

wrathful outrages collected at my feet

all the lies that need to be undone

.

prepare the Hell if the Heavens refuse

both portals of devils and angels on the loose

sinners on the left saints on the right

repentance will come when the moment is ripe

.

you have reveled to the drinks of colored nights

have savored the honey and perfume of twilights

hours have withered stomping feet at the dance floor

forgetting me how can you be so immature

.

lend me your love if chances are nil

a moment with you give at your own freewill

nothing is greater than to be truthful is paramount

stay with me, tell me, if your love still i can count

.

this cold night is nearing its life

the horizon gets less to ablaze in a burning

reach my hands if the love is still there

or walk away, say your goodbye to my morning…
