not yet a seasoned one
tending a younger heart
keeping it from the rain
guarding it from harm

the past was a lovely thing
we said okay and willingly
reaching the stars without wings
our world was never empty

we filled it with bliss and laughter
with pleasure and blessedness
the nights were in rainbow colors
words were sweet without bitterness

we’d like to sing the same old song
playing all over again the melody
love notes of trust that went along
lay open that life is beautiful…Happy Valentines Day !

Name of the game

Tried so hard to find the words
to fit in the line of what i thought
it tired my eyes bearing the huge efforts
so you could feel the struggle of what i sought

Stories in my mind i let them go
strewn into paper i laid them down
to grow a plot and let it flow
how rainbow colors became a crown

Poets of the old had their thoughts free
the younger minds write so differently
old and young talents sometimes agree
identical scenes are acted unusually

There are times some had it wrong
when thoughts are similar they feel it’s cloned
birth of mistrust they chose to defame
Envy is the name of the game …
