though not eternal
it’s larger than life can be
not synthetic but natural
its existence relevant in high degree
it behaves in different ways
but has no powers of locomotion
lacks the nervous system and sense organs
but manufactures its own food like humans
if only it has mouth to speak
a hundred words may not be enough
giving you thanks for caring throughout its life
happy in a pot like you, it now behaves as a wife…
