From Masbate city, it took us 1 hour to reach Aroroy by van which has its terminal at the port. We were supposed to proceed to Bugui Point for the lighthouse but, unfortunately there were no more boats that would transport us to the northern part of Masbate which will take an hour for the travel. We settled for a decision to just spend our time in the nearby vicinity and its immediate environs for, tomorrow we will proceed to the municipality of Mandaun in the southern portion of Masbate, which means that we would be back in the city on that same day. So, here are the photos of Aroroy and its immediate vicinage.

Aroroy, Masbate is a first class municipality bounded on the North by the Masbate Pass, to the East by the municipality of Baleno, to the West by the Sibuyan Sea and to the South by the municipalities of Milagros and Mandaun.

Aroroy has a total land are of 44,040 hectares or 440.40 square kilometers that covers 41 barangays.

Coast guard have to stop them from going into the sea to prevent untoward incidents to happen in this time of the rainy season. Warnings have been announced and circulated not to go on sail but some fishermen ignored such warnings.
