life, as i can remember it then
a typical one in a family of ten
to each his own way of trekking the journey
life's clean living or the one that's dirty
aspired to be a winner but chances failed
still life went on though how far i've sailed
wanted to be better but settled for worse
it was hard to take i took it as a curse
life's quest for brighter stars did not end
patience and will in mind i ran the ugly bends
searching for gold under the thick haystacks
i persevered a lot now i hold high victory's flag
as my life nears the finish line of the race
i'll leave some words of wisdom on my resting place
in life people are thinking about survival
outdo yourself, think not about the others as your rivals...
