i know not which to finish
there are songs of love
and great admiration
songs of hate and separation
unfinished tunes in my mind
i know not which to sing again
right in the middle of every chant
i know not which to say the lines
happy or sad goodbye defines
to end some songs i choose
some scenes i need to see
which among those apply to me
those quotes where i’ve been through
life’s worldliness i believe is true…

Oh how right you are. 😊 They are such classics that we can actually remember the words to the music. Sorry I don’t remember too much of the words in the recent Billboard hits! 😟🎶😱

Oh, I remember my board mate once said in a letter she sent me, “Your song is selling like hotcakes, my relatives want to know the lyrics of your song.” …..
