Have you ever dream about a white dove? If you do, you’re lucky. A white dove is a representation of love between you and your bride/groom to-be or simply your future partner in life. He/She maybe the one you’re looking for, your future Romeo or your Juliet.
In real life, releasing a white dove during your wedding ceremony is a great sign to bring promises of lifelong happiness, fidelity, and prosperity.
Do you believe it? If you do, it’s a great way of starting and grooming a family full of love and joy. It’s a simple encouragement of doing good in your wedded life.
If you don’t, be it as it may. Just let the symbolism stand what it represents in your life and use it as your guiding light in treading a wholesome happy married life.
As a whole, a white dove is a perfect sign of peace, kindness and forgiveness. New beginnings of love, faithfulness and prosperity are predictions and clues that they may bring in your life.
Nope, not once.

I think white doves are beautiful and a symbol of peace, but I’ve never experienced a dream of one. I think doves cooing is a soothing sound. We had them in CO. I think I gave a flippant answer to your serious post. Sorry. I am not a believer in the dream of love like I was in my youth. I see it in my daughter and husband and family but it was not my experience.

I’ve experienced it sometime in my high school days and I’ve forgotten it already how the dream went. 😊 Also, in my sister’s wedding they released a white dove and it was beautiful to witness such occasion. Their life is quite peaceful and happy today ! Thank you so much for your thought, rugby843….Stay safe !

I’ve been to a few weddings where white doves were released and for many it was very emotional. I was worried about the doves. A more meaningful ceremony was an unexpected dove ceremony, unexpected, at a funeral where a woman lost her husband of 65 years and she was allowed to release the doves as a symbol of releasing her husband to a new journey. There wasn’t a dry eye among us.

When somebody dies in a family, it’s really hurting and sad. Sorry about that. That was a comforting and meaningful funeral, releasing her husband to a new journey. All of us will depart from our loved ones. Only time will tell when…. Thank you so much for your thoughts, Tim. … Stay safe !

They are so beautiful! Doves are a homing pigeon – they fly home, and they mate for life. It is nice to think all doves released make it home safely and are back with their mates.

Thank you so much for the information. I didn’t know about that. What I’ve read is that some doves were used to carry information about the enemy forces during WW2….Thank you for the visit.
