This is the lone standing Buddha in Bangkok which rises at 32 meters high and 10 meters wide. The Buddha itself is known as Luang Pho To or Phrasiariyametri which was built in the Ayutthaya period, is adorned with 24-carat gold and glass mosaics. Its location in the Nakhon District of the city, near the Rama VIII bridge over the Chao Phraya river, makes it accessible to several restaurants for visitors to dine in after visiting this place.
