when you’re down
you always look up
but when you’re up
you feel all has no end
when you’re down
healing must come in
it takes considerable time
to get through the struggle
it maybe a slow or speedy process
in fixing one’s ruined self
no matter how strong or rich you are
you’ll pass through a painful and drained state
the power to eagerly overcome it
is measured by your conviction
the struggles willfully become your twin
trials will be beaten by your resolute strength
challenges are embedded in life
but they will ultimately pass away
if regaining one’s self will be a long process
there’s always an end and triumph will give you peace of mind…
Inner trials are always a struggle but as you move through them you become strong and resilient. Great post.

The struggles of life are difficult enough without dealing with the added stress of addiction. It must be very difficult to get life back to normal. Your sympathetic poem seems to depict those struggles realisticly. ❤
All the best! Cheryl

True, and if a person knows that there is always an end to his struggles it would be lighter for him to fight those trials. He must accept it that all of his sufferings are challenges of life. Thanks a lot for the encouraging words, Cheryl . Stay safe.

Yes, this poem says it all. We do struggle, some of us very greatly but if we give upwe get nowhere. Suffering is horrible but we can’t give in. Suffering may ibdeed be a stepping stone to a better place iswardly but not necessarily outwardly. A great piem here
