This is our old TV console which we already disposed and stopped using. We didn’t realize that this could be of use for these felines. I think my father bought this in 1960’s. It was in black and white. This was our first TV and the first in our community. The neighbors’ children used to watch with us in our favorite shows.

I don’t know why the insides of this console, the TV per se, wasn’t here anymore. It might be one of my brothers remove the TV and sold it. We transferred this at the back of the house and it’s been wet there by rains and dried by the sun. It’s good for the stray cats, they have found their modest home.

    1. Sad to say, the other one died. We have 3 that strayed here. When the 3 of them eat together, the one who died, was so slow in eating, so she was rob of her food. That made her so thin and died 3 months ago. …… What are you doing now? How are you these days? ………………….I’ll be back, I’ll walk the dogs out now before it rains !

      1. Hi Bacardi, doing fine -working on a novel, more so than poetry, still seeing some of my students despite the lockdown restrictions, if only people would use their commonsense! Was in Manila many years ago, I was aware of stray cats then. Only have one cat now -live in a busy city and two got run over a couple of years back. cat that remains in the house is more of a house cat, so we have no fears there. Keep up the good work -I always read your blog.

      2. Another novel ! Your mind is always busy on scenes for your writings. …There are always cats here. They climb the fence and transfer to another house across the street. In the morning they’re back. …Your cat has already been domesticated and behaves like she owns the house. haha! Me, too I always visit your site and check your works. Thanks for the message. Stay safe always !

    1. Oh, I can imagine the beauty in that remodeled TV console cabinet. Now the TV stays ON without consuming electricity. How imaginative they are ! Cool !….Thank you so much for visiting my site….Stay safe !
