the rain fell on my lap
it burned my skin
it was colored red
breathing…
sleepless nights came
caressing my dreams
like the hammock of eternity
swaying…
morning sighs of echoes
dropped in my ears
rocking my heart
listening…
i shut my eyes up
my mind was awakened
the place where we met
special memories were set
when i left for home
i carried your shadow
but when the morning came
you left your smiles becoming the past
yet i see you in my coffee cup
gently smiling as i picked it up
you slowly walked back in my memory
when i remember your name…

the day you walked out of my life
