Night through dawn…

The dark was drenched with rain
babysitting the mind
Stretched to the adulthood of night
like a clone walking side by side
Fully grown up in physical description
bearing his dazzling intellect

The night was quiet
yet burning was undisclosed
Deep in consciousness
adventure was a-brewing
Flying everywhere
seeing what's under the wings

Flickering lights below
Gaped with distant eyes
Waves of scenes brought to the shore
On the sands of timeless future
The past has been written in history
And pages had been read

Man had been scorned as slaves
Death was the punishment for the braves
Leaders were looked up as gods and goddesses
Their people pushed as pawns
To win or lose safeguarding their name
Satisfy their egos and silly pride

The late night has come to dawn
to deliver a new beginning
and listen to a new noise
To witness a fresh milestone
to become another history
written as a youthful novel of the recent times...

  1. You have written a powerful post there.Loved these lines,
“Man had been scorned as slaves
Death was the punishment for the braves Leaders were looked up as gods and goddesses
    Their people pushed as pawns”
